Fresh Milk Processing Equipment

The milk processing plants include a range of milk processing equipment to perform or handle the various milk operations including heat treatments, pasteurization, homogenization, cream separation, fresh milk packaging, and other operations. Milk processing plants include fresh milk production, cheese production, yogurt production, and ice cream production to make a huge variety of milk products like cheese, butter, cream, skimmed milk, yogurt, toned milk or double-toned milk, and much more.

This section of fresh milk processing contains all operations during the handling, storage, and packaging of fluid milk including collecting milk from farmers, storing milk in the milk cooling tanks then separating cream, pasteurizing the milk, homogenizing for making good quality milk products, and fresh milk packaging by using some milk processing equipment that is described below.

Milk Holding Tanks: These milk tanks are major components in any milk processing plants that are used to store raw milk, skimmed milk, or cream. These can be temporary holding tanks that require no cooling components of just milk cooler tanks.
Pasteurizers: Milk Pasteurizers assist with heat treatment. These could be batch pasteurizers or heat exchangers for line pasteurizers for large-scale processors.
Separators: To remove cream and other components that can be used in other milk products, separator equipment can be used.
Homogenizers: To improve the texture, taste, and viscosity of the milk and to prevent a cream line that sediments, homogenization is necessary during fresh milk processing.
