A complete yogurt processing line includes all the equipment required for batch yogurt production, supplemented by a milk
transfer pump for semi-automation. The capacity of this processing line can vary, starting from 100 liters per hour.
A Yogurt-making Line Consists of the Following Tanks:
- Milk cooling or storage tank: Stores raw milk and maintains it at 4°C. Fresh milk is filtered before entering the preheating tank via a milk pump.
- Milk pre-heating tank: Eliminates organisms, improves consistency and viscosity, and prevents whey separation.
- Milk homogenizer: Enhances consistency, appearance, creaminess, and flavor of yogurt, and ensures even distribution of stabilizers.
- Milk pasteurizing tank: Completes heat treatment when milk temperature reaches 85°C.
- Milk fermentation tank: Also known as an incubation tank, maintains a temperature of 43°C and retains heat while stirring.
- Yogurt filling machine: The packaging type depends on the packaging material and can be a cup-filling or bottle-filling machine.
