History of Techwin

Techwin was founded in 2007 as Finken Holdings Limited. In 2021, we rebranded to Techwin Limited to better align the company name with its core operations.

Our Name: TECHWIN

  • Installation of modern laser welding equipment at our workshop.
  • Commissioning of a modern Cleaning in Place (CIP) system at New KCC dairy processing plant in Nyahururu, Laikipia County by His Excellency, President Dr. William Samoei Ruto.
  • Partnership with Zetech University for research and development in the engineering sector to improve the efficiency of dairy equipment and utilize locally available renewable energy options.
  • Partnership with the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO) for farmer sensitization on the use of sustainable processing options in agriculture.
  • Became a full member of the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM).
  • Awarded KEBS Standardization Mark for an array of our locally manufactured dairy equipment, including pasteurizers, milk cooling tanks, and milk dispensing machines, underscoring our commitment to quality and safety.
  • Entered into a corporation agreement with Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology for engineering research and development for agricultural machinery and cold storage solutions, and capacity building.
  • Commissioning of a complete 7,500 Litres per hour milk processing plant in Baringo Agricultural Marketing Cooperative Society Union (BAMSCOS) in Eldama Ravine - Baringo County, fitted with four 20,000-litre capacity storage silos.
  • Installation of modern laser cutting equipment at our workshop.
